Memory of a Vision suggests a fleeting, almost intangible recollection of something once seen or imagined, an impression that lingers in the mind. It’s a memory that doesn’t adhere to the specifics of time or place but rather holds onto the emotional impact of the original experience, colors, or forms that left an imprint.
Memory of a Vision evokes the process of recalling a scene or an image not as it was, but as it felt. That plays with contrasting familiar and ethereal elements to create an image both intimate and elusive. It’s less about accuracy and more about capturing the essence of a vision, something that, even in memory, remains partially veiled in mystery.
This project is in between places, between objects, between people, which are invented in my imagination as I inhabit the spaces. It is a mechanism between the real and the fictional, between the static and what is in motion.
Using contemporary art to create these non-places, these new universes and objects, these infinite cosmic worlds.
The combination of elements, artwork/space/person, blend with each other, creating new works of art, and together they transform any space into a reflection of what lies beyond the visible.
My fascination with color and form manifests in every image I create, where vibrant tones and unusual lines intertwine to bring surreal spaces to life. The self-expression of this new work of art is the beauty of the different, of the extravagant.
In a society that constantly seeks to belong to a group, I revere those who want to be different and unique. There are people that are living works of art that challenges perception and their choices of color and form helps me to generate those new universes.
